Clean Teeth
Clean Planet

Our days begin and end at the bathroom sink in the company of a toothbrush. We tend to spend at least 3 minutes twice a day with it. After 3 months, we part. This relationship is not long-term and always ends with the toothbrush in the trash. It is estimated that every year 3.6 billion plastic toothbrushes end up in landfills or the ocean. Therefore, it’s time to make a small change and brush our teeth with a sustainable brush.

Humble brush

Humble Brush represents bamboo biodegradable toothbrushes. Bamboo is the fastest growing plant, it is naturally antibacterial and we don’t need to use fertilizers and pesticides to help it grow. Humble Brush toothbrushes are a great alternative to plastic ones. Top Swedish dentists contributed to their quality. The brushes are easy to use because they have a special curved shape that helps you access all areas of your mouth. They are easy to hold, effectively remove plaque and (thanks to the bamboo) are light and easy to use for kids as well. The bristles are nylon (nylon 6, which degrades quickly and can be processed) and don’t contain BPA toxin (bisphenol A).

Preserve

Preserve company teamed up with specialists to create a toothbrush that will not only clean your teeth perfectly, but minimise your impact on the environment as well. Thanks to its visibly curved handle, you can be as thorough as you need. Preserve toothbrushes are made out of recycled yogurt containers. The bristles are made of new plastic, and the cover your brush arrives in is 100% recyclable. When the time comes for you to part with your Preserve brush, you can send it back and receive a $1 voucher for each brush you return.

ISSA

If you use an electric toothbrush, don’t feel left out. We also have a sustainable option for you. Check out Swedish FOREO ISSA toothbrushes. The brushes are made of silicone, which means there is no oil needed for production. They are not just beautifully-designed, their battery lasts up to 6 months. This means you'll get almost 365 brushes in just one charge. Additionally, you only have to change the brush once a year. FOREO brushes are sustainable, environmentally friendly and energy-efficient (oh, and absolutely gorgeous).

Clean teeth is a necessity, which is why we welcome original and sustainable solutions that will replace plastic brushes that can’t be recycled. It’s all about a simple change in the bathroom and the effort to avoid unnecessary waste. It is clear we can do this differently. The question is, can  we make that change?
